HOW DOES OUR ONLINE COURSE WORK?
1. Register your details and make payment
Complete our online enrolment form and make payment online to register. If you already hold an OHS White Card, then at this point your online Student Account will be LOCKED (see below for instructions on how to UNLOCK your online Student Account).
2. Send us a copy of your OHS White Card
The OHS Unit CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry (sometimes known as the ‘Green or White Card’) is a prerequisite to the new Course, and must be completed before you start the Course.
If you have not completed this OHS Unit, you can complete it with us here online.
If you have already completed this OHS Unit with any provider, you will need to send us evidence of completion either by email or fax, so that we can promptly UNLOCK your online Student Account.
3. Complete the Online Course
Our Online Course consists of 5 different Modules and a total of approximately 250 online questions. You will have instant access to small hints and guidance in answering each and every question, as well as the comprehensive Course Materials for each of the five Modules.
The Online Course can be completed in one day through an assessment only pathway, depending on whether you have any previous experience in the building and construction industry.
4. Your Certificate will be instantly generated online
Once you have successfully completed the Online Course, your Certificate will be instantly generated online for you to immediately access and download.
Once you receive this email, you will be able to print off the documents and immediately attend a NSW Fair Trading Centre to obtain your Owner Builder Permit.
More importantly, once you complete the Online Course, your Certificate will be valid for life, which means that if you later wish to become an Owner Builder a second or subsequent time, you do not have to re-do the Course again (subject to any changes in the law).
